Elizabeth "Betty" Rose Jones, 63, of Greensburg, passed away at 5:25 a.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 3, 1962, in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Ralph & Helen (Ayres) Olita. She graduated from Connersville High School in 1980.She was a veteran having served with the US Navy. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She married Daniel Lee Jones on October 22, 2012, in Richmond, Indiana. He survives, along with her daughter, Michelle Elizabeth Florez of Colorado; her sister, Gail Owens of Connersville; her brother, Ralph Olita of Ohio; her grandchildren, Allison and Alexi McQuery, both of Connersville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Following her wishes, she will be cremated and will be entombed at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison at a later date.
