Ada Marie Lunsford, 78, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Majestic Care of North Vernon. She was born on August 14, 1946 in Laurel, Indiana the daughter of John Henry and Nannie (Maupin) McDaniel. She is survived by her sons, John H. Lunsford and William Lunsford, Jr. both of London, Kentucky; her sisters, Anna Margaret Steel of Brookville, Alfa McDaniel of Greensburg, Lois Jean Rucker of North Vernon and Fanny Korner of Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Corrina McDaniel and Sofia Susan McDaniel; brothers, Joe McDaniel, William McDaniel, Kenneth McDaniel, Ray McDaniel, George McDaniel, Charles McDaniel, James Willard McDaniel, Tommy Roscoe McDaniel, Granville Pearl "Pete" McDaniel and Clarence McDaniel. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Westport Cemetery with Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport was entrusted with handling the arrangements.
