Jimmy W. Cook, 64, of Greensburg, passed away at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1958, in Cicero, Illinois, the son of Bobby Joe and Ethel Mae (Krugh) Cook. He was raised in Kossuth, Mississippi and graduated from Kossuth High School in 1978. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He married Barbara Gail Estes on March 11, 2002, in Selmer, Tennessee and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Latasha D. Puckett of Greensburg; his sons, Dewayne Puckett and Daniel Puckett both of Greensburg; grandchildren, Brentley Dewayne and Kayla Puckett. He was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
