Marilyn R. White, 88, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 3:03 p.m. at her residence. She was born on July 31, 1934, in Rush County, the daughter of Willard I. & Agnes (Hite) Brown. She had worked at the Odd Fellows Nursing Home and the dress factory in Greensburg. Marilyn was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Greensburg and enjoyed sewing and making wedding cakes. She married Walter White on March 3, 1951, in Greensburg, and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Willa Mae (Omer) Cornn of Greensburg and her son, Carl White (Kathy Lowery) of Greensburg; her daughter-in-law, Joyce White of Greensburg; her seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter White; her son, Raymond White; her sister, Evelyn Ebenkamp; her grandson, Nicholas White and great grandson, Samuel Schwering. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with Rev. Perry A. Cook officiating. Burial will be at the Union Presbyterian Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
