Tucker Riley Bushhorn, 23, of Westport, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 6, 1999, in Lafayette, the son of Thomas D. & Priscilla D. (Hammond) Bushhorn. He has been a Decatur County resident since he was 6 years old. He graduated from South Decatur High School in 2018 and received a BA from Indiana University in 2022. He had formerly worked at TQL in Indianapolis. Tucker was a member of the Westport Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and riding his motorcycle and dirt bikes. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his parents, Thomas & Priscilla Bushhorn of Westport; his sisters, Savannah Bushhorn and Sophia Bushhorn both of Westport; his brother, Tyler (Olivia) Bushhorn of Westport; his grandparents, Dennis & Ellen Bushhorn of Westport, and William & Virginia Hammond of North Vernon. The funeral will be conducted on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to the service at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Pastor Gary Haines will be officiating. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Southeastern Baptist Youth Camp through the funeral home.
