Kenneth Wayne Oliver, 64, of Westport, passed away at 8:29 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1959 in Columbus, Indiana the son of Warren K. Oliver and Evelyn (Wolter) Kiefer. He was a lifelong resident of Westport and had worked in construction. Kenny enjoyed mushroom hunting, playing pool, fishing and arrowhead hunting. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Oliver of Westport; his daughter, Amanda (Darren) Wyne of Commisky; a son, Tim (Lindsay) Sanabria of Franklin; sisters, Diane Powers of Westport, Nancy Tyler of North Vernon and Janet (Bernard) Hagerty of Greensburg; brothers, Ronald L. Oliver and Dan Oliver both of Westport and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Lester Powers. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Cremation will take place following the service. A time of visitation will be will be held on Saturday, March 30 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to assist with funeral expenses through the funeral home.
