Michael Eugene Edmondson, 63, of Greensburg, passed away at 9:34 a.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana inpatient facility in Columbus. He was born on September 9, 1958 in Greensburg, the son of Eugene F. & Donna JoAnn (Ernstes) Edmondson. Michael had lived most of his life in Decatur and Jennings Counties and had graduated from Greensburg High School. He was a veteran having served with the U.S Airforce. He enjoyed the outdoors and music. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany L. (Donald) Hersley Boatman of Greensburg; his grandchildren, Nevaeh J. Griffith and Noah L. Burton, his sisters, Pamela Y. Goodin and Diane (John) Bredewater both of Saucier, Mississippi and Virginia Arlene Gabbard of North Vernon; his brother, Brian Thomas (Kimberly) Edmondson of North Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Cody Dennis Hersley-Edmondson; niece, Jami Goodin and nephew, Joshua Goodin. Following his wishes, cremation will take place and burial will be at the Westport Cemetery at a later date. The Bass & Gasper Funeral Home & Crematory was entrusted with handling the funeral arrangements.
