Glenn V. Waltman, 53, of Columbus, passed away at 12:55 P.M. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus. He was born on November 7, 1967 in Denver, Colorado the son of William & Joan (Kinnevey) Waltman. He had been a resident of Columbus the past 7 years. Glenn enjoyed hunting, collecting guns, reloading ammunition and building computers. He is survived by his companion, Christina Brooks of Columbus; his sons, Christopher (Cierra) Wethington and Brandon (Hannah) Wethington both of Greensburg; sister, Cindy (Mike) Dance of Avon; brother, Greg (Tracey) Waltman of Brownsburg and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his pets, Shelby, Teddy and Bobo. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Abagail Fleenor officiating. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 26 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines inside the funeral home and masks are recommended. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
