Donald Eugene Giddings, 75, of Westport, passed away at 2:26 a.m. on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. He was born on January 26, 1946 in Decatur County, the son of Forest & Dorothy Mae (Wilson) Giddings. Donald has been a Decatur County resident for the majority of his life. He enjoyed junking, watching TV, deer, rabbit & squirrel hunting. He married Carolyn S. Small in Letts on October 26, 1969. She preceded him in death on May 26, 2020. He is survived by his son, Kevin Eugene Giddings of Greensburg; step son, Junior Hazelgrove of Madison; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews and his caregivers, LeAnn & Jason Henderson and Mattilee Meece. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Donald Eugene Giddings; his daughter, Penny Marie O'Dell; his brothers, Charles & John Giddings and his sister, Joann Manning. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with cremation to follow. Burial will be at the Rodney Cemetery.
