Pamela W. Taylor, 72, of Sardinia, passed away at 10:10 a.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Majestic Health Care Center in North Vernon. She was born on November 15, 1947 in Portland, Maine. She was the daughter of Ruppert S. & Dorothy W. (Wiley) Nisbet. At the age of 5 they moved to Imperial Beach, California and she moved to Westport in 1966. She was a 1965 graduate of MarVista High School in Imperial Beach, California. Pamela was a member of Sardinia Baptist Church and Beta Sigma Pi Sorority. She enjoyed reading, sewing, doing crossword puzzles and visiting her grandchildren. She married Gregory Dale Taylor on March 30, 1974 in Westport. He preceded her in death on December 25, 2015. Pamela is survived by her daughter, Leah (Aaron) Nugent of Westport; her son, Douglas Taylor of Westport; her brothers, Stephen Nisbet and Richard (Shelley) Nisbet, both of Bloomington; her brother-in-law Tony (Sandy) Taylor of North Vernon; her grandsons, Cole & Corey Nugent of Westport. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required. Following her visitation she will be cremated and will be buried at the Westport Cemetery at a later date.
