LaVerne Fall, 93 of Indianapolis, formally of Westport passed away at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the St. Vincent Hospice Center in Indianapolis. She was born on April 7, 1927 in East Fork, Kentucky the daughter of Arthur and Polly Elizabeth (Froedge) Gibbons. She moved to Indiana when she was 14 years old and was a Westport resident until 2008 when she moved to Indianapolis. She was a member of the Westport Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing. She married Eddis G. Fall in Vernon, Indiana on July 1, 1945. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2005. She is survived by her daughters, Judith Parshall of Florence, Kentucky and Carolyn De Angelis of Indianapolis; her son, Ronald (Janet) Fall of Carmel; her six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Eddis Fall; her son, Richard Fall; her brothers, Roscoe, Ruil and Grant Gibbons; her sisters, Etta Pauline Jackson and Mary Edith Trent. Private graveside services for the family will be held at the Westport Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. A celebration of life party will be held at a later date.
