Nora Alice Scudder, 77, of Greensburg, passed away at 5:52 p.m. on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Franciscan Health in Greenwood. She was born on November 25, 1942 in Decatur County, the daughter of Norvel & Violet (Baker) Hill. She was lifelong resident of Decatur County and was a breast cancer survivor. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Nora enjoyed watching soap operas, westerns and reading. She married Russell "Jake" Owen Scudder, Jr. on August 8, 1959 in Greensburg and he survives. Other survivors include daughters, Marcia (Donald) Hardebeck of Greensburg and Traci (Chris) Miller of Hamilton, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shelia Scudder and 3 siblings. According to Nora's wishes she will be cremated with no funeral service or visitation. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Breast Cancer Awareness or The American Diabetes Association.
