Ethan Levi Giddings, 21, of Westport passed away at 10:48 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2020 at his residence. He was born on April 8, 1999 in Indianapolis, the son of Staci (Schwering) Pratt. He was a lifelong resident of Westport and graduated from South Decatur High School in 2017. He enjoyed listening to music, looking at lights and sunsets. He is survived by his mother, Staci (Schwering) Pratt of Westport; sisters, Nikia Schwering, Brenna Giddings, Madalyn Johnson all of Westport, Crystal Giddings of Austin and Chrishonna Barkes of Greensburg; brother, Corey Mulliken of North Vernon. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Judith Schwering and Charles and Shirley Giddings; aunts, Laura Mae Hines and Nikki Schwering. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor George Willette officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Aerie Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
