Henry Alan Heath, 69, of Westport passed away at 8:28 a.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born May 30, 1951 in Greensburg, the son of William Henry & Lillian May (LeMasters) Heath. Henry has been a lifelong resident of Decatur County. He had worked for Frost Tree Farm. He enjoyed Bingo, fishing, Bluegrass Music and spending time with his grandchildren and his dog Daisy. He married Barbara Sue Vinson on January 16, 1974 in Westport. She preceded him in death on November 5, 2000. He is survived by his children, Robert Alan (Joni) Heath of Westport, Melissa Renee (Jason) Preston of Greensburg, Jason Wade Heath of New Pekin, Crystal Gail (Joe) Wright of Milford, Angela Sue (Daniel) Hawkins of Greensburg; his sisters, Brenda Bedal of Logansport, Teresa (Zon) Moore of Greensburg, Dolly Brown of North Vernon, Michelle Heath of Westport, Olivia Rome (Daniel) League of North Vernon, Melinda Heath of North Vernon; his step sons, David Anderson of Greensburg and Raymond (Jennifer) Anderson of Butlerville; his brothers, Preston "Jake" Heath of North Vernon, Scott (James) Heath of North Vernon and Jeffrey (Laura) Heath of North Vernon; 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, son, Jeremiah Lee Heath; sister, Carlotta Johnson; brother, Coy Heath; great grandson, Leighton Hayes and foster daughter, Tohawnee Stockton. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Burial will follow at the Rock Creek Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
