Dwayne Atchley, 75, of Greensburg, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus. He was born on June 26, 1944 in Russell Springs, Kentucky the son of Bryan & Nellie (Sullivan) Atchley. He has resided in the Greensburg area since 1962. He was head mechanic at Harris City Stone for 29 years and 9 months. He enjoyed hunting, horses, mules, farming and playing guitars. He married Anna Vermalene Wright on May 26, 1962 in Livingston, Tennessee and she survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Camilla (Mike) Little of Westport, Patricia (Neil) Buchanan of Greensburg and Vernita (Bruce) Trobaugh of Hartsville; sister, Jean Tichenor of Westport; grandchildren, Brett (Cassandra) Little, Cami Little & Blake (Brianna) Little and great grandson, Blayne Little. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Alma Eades and Opal Gentry; brothers, Joseph Atchley, Chester Atchley, Dale Atchley and Millard Atchley. A memorial visitation will be conducted from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport.
