Brenda Sue Yeager, 68, of Holton, passed away at 1:58 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at her residence. She was born on November 30, 1950 in Cornstalk, West Virginia. She was a resident of Sunman the majority of her life. She retired from Hill Rom after 29 years of service. She was a member of the Hill Rom bowling league and past member of the Eagles Lodge #927 in Greensburg. Brenda enjoyed bowling, crocheting, looking for 4 leaf clovers, collecting jewelry and animals. She is survived by her daughter, Tammi (Mark) Courtney of Westport; her son, Keith Yeager of Columbus; sisters, Patty Marcum of Connersville and Bobbie Riddle of Florida; brothers, Brad Hayslett of Georgia and Allen Hayslett of Illinois; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 two hours prior to the service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
