Evelyn Luella Nimeskern, 89, of Milan, passed away at 6:42 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at High Point Health Center in Lawrenceburg. She was born on June 2, 1930 in Elwood, Indiana the daughter of William R. and Martha E. (Telfer) McRoberts. She was born in Indiana, raised in Ohio and had been an Indiana resident since 1980. She attended Saint Agnes Catholic Church in New Marion, Indiana. Evelyn enjoyed making baby clothes for premature babies. She married Bernard Nimeskern on September 17, 1992 in Henry County, Kentucky and he survives. Other survivors include her stepchildren, Bernie Nimeskern, Jr., Joe Nimeskern, Tom Nimeskern, Cheryl Davis, Pat Nimeskern, Teresa Jacques, Melinda Dutcher, Merrily Hudson, Michelle Yearick; her sister, Christina Ann Jones; 31 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, William H. McRoberts, Louis Edward McRoberts, Leonard E. McRoberts and Charles Leeland McRoberts; her sisters, Lila Telfer and Mary A. McRoberts. Following Evelyn's wishes she will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
