Paul David Smith, 25, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at Community Hospital South in Greenwood. He was born February 3, 1994 in Columbus, Indiana and resided the majority of his life in Westport, Indiana. Paul was a 2012 graduate of South Decatur High School. He cherished spending time with his daughters. Paul is survived by his daughters, Xandria and Evelaina; his parents, Harold and Alice (Braunagel) Smith; brothers, Steven, Mark, Thomas, James, Daniel and Nathan Smith; sisters, Barb (Derek) Jacobs, Casey (Tony) Bullington, and Mary Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Mary Braunagel, Virgil and Evalena Smith; brothers, Gary and Chadwick Smith. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Father Chris Wadelton officiating. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made through the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses or to Greensburg TLC.
