Nyra Delores Holdreith, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at 5:58 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville. She was born on October 12, 1930 in Marion, Illinois the daughter of Dewey & Mary Belle (Conley) Roberts. Delores had been employed at the Jennings County Extension Office for 9 years and was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She married Thomas P. Holdreith on April 13, 1957 in Dearborn, Michigan. He preceded her in death on September 16, 1993. Survivors include her children, Thomas (Pat) Holdreith of Madison Heights, Michigan; Susan (Phil) Irwin of Warren, Michigan; Pete (Kathy) Holdreith of Westport, Indiana; Kimberly (Tom) Kimsey of Louisville, Kentucky; Mary Beth Campbell of Flint, Michigan and Paul Holdreith of Westport, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Brian Joseph Holdreith and a brother, Bobby Ray Roberts. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, with Father Bill Turner officiating. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.
