Judy Marie (Landwehr) Gatewood, 81, of Westport, passed away at 1:12 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. She was born on April 27, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Edwin and Jewel (Pruitt) Landwehr. She lived in Cincinnati for 6 years and then moved to Zenas, Indiana and lived there for 9 years and moved to Westport in 1955. Judy had worked at Crown Zellerbach/Print Pac for 35 years in extrusion and laboratory and also had worked for the Gatewood contractor business. She was a member of the Rockcreek Baptist Church. Judy married Jack G. Gatewood on August 7, 1954 in Jeffersonville. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2015. Survivors include her daughter, Dianne (Michael) Swift of Muncie; son, Tracy Kevin (Paula) Gatewood of Westport; sisters, Jean (William) Ammann of Harrison, Ohio and Rosalie Smith of Georgetown, Ohio; step sister, Joan Landwehr and step brother, Allen Landwehr both of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Nathan (Jennifer) Mynett and Angela (Rocky) Brown both of Muncie, Travis Kevin (Rhea) Gatewood of Columbus; step grandsons, Justin (Meagan) Swift and Kyle (Sarah) Swift; great grandchildren, Cole & Chole Mynett, Emma and Kye Brown, Mallory, Micah and Jona Swift, Ella Swift, Trystan Rea Ann and Jackson Gatewood. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Marcia Lynn Landwehr and grandparents, Joe and Adaline Paul. According to Judy's wishes she will be cremated with no visitation or service.
