Fred D. Mozingo, 72, of Holton, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. He was born on September 18, 1947 in Greensburg, the son of Lowell Franklin & Velma Enid (Jones) Mozingo. Fred lived most of his life in Ripley County. Survivors include his daughter, Carla Mozingo; sisters, Reita (Howard) Watson and Vickie (Sam) Wentzel both of Greensburg, Wilma (Paul) Struckman of Osgood; brothers, Aaron (Melinda) Mozingo of Holton; Stanley (Ruth) Mozingo of Osgood and Earl (Rita) Mozingo of Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Adrienne Kay Compton and Janet Lee Mozingo; brothers, Marlin "Bud" Mozingo, Ivan Mozingo and Dyer Gordon Mozingo. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Union Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mitch Harrell officiating. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted with handling the arrangements.
