Stacey Marie Pruitt, 44, of Columbus, passed away at 8:18 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her residence. She was born on July 15, 1975 in Columbus the daughter of Stanley T. Davis and Lois A. Day. She was a lifelong resident of Columbus. Stacey enjoyed playing solitaire, games and shopping. Survivors include her father, Stanley (Rachel) Davis of Greenwood; her mother, Lois A. Day of Columbus; her daughter, Alyssa Roberts of Greenwood; her sons, Daniel (Lydia) Roberts of Columbus and Zachery Holwager of Shelbyville; her brother, Douglas Gatewood of Columbus; grandparents, Dwight & Katherine Davis of Columbus and 2 grandsons. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve & Iva Day and a cousin, Chris Nickell. Private visitation and funeral services will be conducted at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Rev. Donnie Asbury officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
