Michael Lee Hendershott, 58, of Greensburg passed away at 1:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Greensburg. He was born on August 30, 1961 in Rushville, the son of Virgil E. & Martha A. (Frye) Hendershott. He had attended Waldron High School. He previously worked for MacBeath Hardwood Company in Edinburg, the Shelby County Highway Department, as well as numerous trucking firms and Amish groups. He is survived by his sons, Kevin Hendershott of Adams and Keith (Tia) Hendershott of Osgood; his sisters, Linda Newbold of Louden, Tennessee and Joan (Ron) Temple of Morristown, Indiana; his brother, Virgil E. (Mary) Hendershott, Jr. of Connersville and his grandchildren, Corvin, Noah, Jazmyne, Jayde'Ann, Scarlett Hendershott. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Leroy and David Hendershott and his sister, Rita Castelli. Following Michael's wishes he will be cremated and there will be no public services. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with the services.
