Calva Ann Lister Spicer, 80, of Columbus, passed away at 1:14 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Columbus Regional Hospital. She was born August 27, 1938 in Ridgely, Maryland the daughter of Richard Calvin and Edith (Towers) Lister. She was raised in Greensboro, Maryland and has been a Columbus resident since March of 2005. She married Charles Thomas "Junior" Spicer, Jr. on February 3, 1968 in Greensboro, Maryland. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2014. Survivors include her daughter, Emily K. (Laura) Spicer of Indianapolis, Indiana; son, Patrick T. (Heidi) Spicer of Sydney, Australia; sisters, Edith "Joan" Ziegler of Raleigh, North Carolina and Nanci T. Campbell of Vista, California; grandchildren, Adelaide Spicer & Marshall Spicer of Sydney, Australia and Maurah, Marlow & Gus Spicer of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Following Mrs. Spicer's wishes she will be cremated with services in Delaware at a later date.
