Wayne L. Ford, 75, of rural Westport passed away at 4:32 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. He was born on May 25, 1944 in Greensburg, the son of Ralph L. and Edna C. (Jordan) Ford. He was a lifelong resident of Jennings County. He retired from Reliance in Columbus in 1994 after 30 years of service and was a farmer. He was a member of the Westport Wesleyan Church where he served as a usher. He is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Helen Irene Ford. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn D. Black officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock Creek Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m..
