Slade Antonio Merritt, 41 days, of Greensburg, passed away at 9:24 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at the St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born May 3, 2019 in Indianapolis, the son of Jordan Clark Merritt and Sara Elizabeth Fields-Santiago. They survive along with sister, Bella Merritt of Florida; brother, Ace Merritt of Greensburg; grandparents, Cherie & Kilby Burton of Westport, Rodney Santiago of Florida, Brian Merritt of Greensburg and Melissa Wickline of Greensburg; great grandparents, Gloria & Antonio Santiago of Ohio, Lester Mozingo of Greensburg and Janice Covey of Ohio; great great grandmother, Mary Stuart Smith of Greensburg; several aunts, uncles and cousins; his NICU Super Heros, Anna and Lauren. He was preceded in death by several great grandparents and great great grandparents. The funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
