William Eugene "Bill" Richey, 63, passed away at 9:57 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Arbor Grove Village. He was born on December 26, 1955 in Greensburg, the son of Otto Paul & Mildred Lee (White) Richey. He had been a resident of Greensburg his entire life. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, cooking, pull tab tickets and chipping bricks. He is survived by daughters, Jessica (Tony) Sheets of Greensburg and Angela (Joe) Fleener of St. Paul; sons, Briant Richey and Christopher Richey both of Greensburg; sisters, Martha Richardson of Connersville and Sandra (John) Underhill of Greensburg; brothers Paul Richey of Greensburg, Donald Richey of Greensburg, Cecil (Brigette) Richey of Burney, Mike (Joyce) Richey of St. Paul, John Richey of Greensburg, Bob (Laura) Richey of Columbus; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Arthur Richey, Sr. and sister, Linda Mantooth. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Roy Redd officiating. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery with military graveside rites. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses through the funeral home.
