San Alexander Pike, 47, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on April 13, 1971 in Lake County, Florida, the son of Patrick Lee and Ellen Louise (Myers) Pike. San was raised in Rushville and has been a Greensburg resident since 1995. He had worked for Townsend Tree Co. in Connersville. He enjoyed fishing. He married Kimberly Melcher in Rushville on April 20, 1995 and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Sara Pike of Greensburg; his sisters, Tasha (Chuck) Balistrire of Shelbyville and Renee (Christopher) Fox of St. Paul; his brother, Wesley (Trish) Causey of Rushville; his mother-in-law, Kathy Melcher of Greensburg; his sister-in-law, Kristine (Bryan) Weber of Greensburg and his brother-in-law, Robert L. Melcher of Greensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
